Move over Taco Trucks, there is a new kid in town!
Arden Reed (click the blue!) has a pop-up Tailor Truck (shut-up, I know!). Arden Reed has been in the suit making biz since 2008, and has had the truck going since May 26th. They have been galivanting all over the Eastern states with a spectacularly successful focus on the Ivy League schools (think prepping for those interviews, changing out of keg chugging sweats into hire-me suits). A second techie tailor truck is being tricked out and is set to launch in L.A. within the year!
W Boston Hotel (love) hosted Arden Reed and his truck on Thursday October 4th during Boston Fashion Week – sheer brilliance as Boston men need a little fashion love.
The technologically customized tailor truck has a 3D full body scan that delivers a pattern, in under 7 minutes! Uh-oh! I just heard a drop in return flights to Hong Kong for suit buying expeditions!
reversecommuter was at the W enjoying a BLISSful spa session, sad about not being able to find a babysitter to stay for the evening’s BFW events (I know, not very Fashion-Bloggey) when I literally walked right into the Arden Reed team in the hotel lobby!
Ironically on the way out I bumped into Delightful Deloris,( an 84 year old fashion maven who has worked with the likes of Ralph Lauren & Michael Kors when they were just starting out) who busted my chops for living in the burbs (again, I know, not particularly Fashion Bloggey!). Oy!
Now a tailor truck is a magnificent idea. Man am i slow on the uptake. 😎
Not really Juesseppi – they just launched in May – don’t beat yourself up! 🙂
Thanks for the follow!
My pleasure. 😉
