Happy Happy Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not only are the holidays upon us, so is earnings season! JC Penney delivered some extremely disappointing (yet unsurprising) numbers. But investors love a good comeback kid situation, so the honest reporting by the company (numbers are down because of a massive clean up operation from Ron Johnson’s merchandise selections while CEO) resulted in a spike in the stock price of over 9%. reversecommuter’s guess is that JC Penney will return to what the retailer built itself on, a solid lower price department store.
T J Maxx is on a serious upswing and delivered some WOWZER numbers – apparently digging for designer bargains is a very popular pastime…shocker!
Got a spare $700? There is nowhere better to spend it than at the Four Seasons Hotel Georges V on December 2nd. UNICEF, for the 11th year, has invited designers such as Chanel, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and many more, to create a doll. The dolls are displayed at the Petit Palais and then auctioned off at the Hotel Georges V. This year the campaign is directed towards the children of Darfur. How can these dolls not be on every fashionista’s list?!?!
1.7 MILLION euros have been raised in the first 10 years, all going to vaccines for 300,000 children. reversecommuter adores this campaign, as this is what Christmas should be about.

reversecommuter NEED/WANTS the Lanvin dolly really really badly!!!!
Enjoy the weekend, pour yourself a glass of champs & take inventory of all your party frocks because the season is coming!!!
xo reversecommuter
As a straight married old man with girls who never got into them either, dolls aren’t my thing. That said, that Lanvin one is killer.
And I’m in the process of assessing the state of my frocks. Sweaters actually, but you know what I mean.
Lol –
Sweaters can absolutely be
Interpreted as frocks!
Have a great weekend!
Hope the play was a huge success!
Love these dollies, they are so gorgeous dressed up 🙂 !
