reversecommuter had a first date in Dubai last week.
It was not with a camel.
It was with Mitzee Mee, a gorgeous, funny, extremely well traveled blogger (click the blue to visit her fab travel and lifestyle blog). Mitzee Mee lives in Dubai (lucky), used to be a pilot (lucky), is married to a pilot (lucky) and is busy planning her summer trips (lucky!!).
As mentioned in a previous posting, reversecommuter was concerned about packing appropriate clothing to wear in a predominantly Muslim city. This Alexander Wang dress was my most risque choice, above the knees and with sheer paneling. Full disclosure, it was my last night in Dubai and we met at an outdoor bar at my hotel.
Thanks for the pic Mitzee Mee!
fyi O.W.O. is back next week.
WOW what a cool trip!!!! I can’t wait to go some day!!! Seems like an unreal place!
It is, it was and you should definitely experience it in person. Dubai completely wowed me!
Not many places WOW me…Africa & Hawaii..and I’m from Alaska, so I like a lot of natural beauty~ what about it wowed you the most?
I’m right there with you in the not-so-easily-wowed category. Dubai’s wow factor for me was the architecture. Curves, glass and cloud tipping heights. Gorgeousness abounded throughout.
And the international people watching was spectacular!
love this!!!

Maybe we can meet next trip across the pond!
Very cool- and that dress was definitely a great pick!!
It took me 4 days to gain enough
Bravery to wear it! 😄
That first picture is unreal! What gorgeous colours.
Thanks! Crazy fun adventurous trip!
Such a pleasure to meet you, and happy to hear that you liked Dubai:)
