Green is the New Black

Pharrell happily does it with bionic yarn and G-Star.

The plastic garbage in our ocean (6x more than sea life) is transformed into bionic yarn’s denim – actually fibre that can be made into clothes – gorgeous, cool, style that does way more good than ANY designer denim EVER has.  Shop the collection here!

Stella McCartney does it with a lifelong commitment to sustainability, no fur no leather no suffering just green.  Highlighted recently by reversecommuter, Stella’s Green Carpet Collection was inspiring, beautiful, clean and pretty.  Despite all of those attributes it was also green!

Über-fab Australian accessories line LouenHide uses polyurethane PU and it looks like leather, feels like leather and the price is silly – as in good silly!

FYI Their cosmetic pouches make a phenomenal evening clutch.

Our planet is such a delicate, amazing place filled with unlimited inspiration for fashion, art and imagination.  Making a small difference individually can result in a monumental change for the good.
