Winter has officially arrived. Coldest week of the year here in Boston right now.
Seriously, this blogger needs a palm tree.
Wellenstyn jackets were originally made out of sail cloth, a material strong enough to withstand wind, cold and damp. It’s like the shipyards of Hamburg are sister ports with Boston. Brrrrrrrrrrr Frauline!
Glencheck, navy blue, camel, black, royal blue, metallic, grey, red, lime green, what’s your pleasure? Any choice will deliver delirious warmth, perfect for building snow forts or surviving snowball attacks!
There are now four Wellenstyn stores in the US, one in California, one in New York City, and two outlets, one in Chicago and one in Wrentham, MA. Jackets at the outlet run around $400-600, and worth every single penny when the temperature is zero – not including wind chill. #hatewindchillmorethanbangs
All Wellenstyn jackets are either waterproof or water resistant – this is very good news for anyone who lives where “Nor’Easter” is part of the forecast! Plus each jacket style has its own adorable name. Obviously “darling” called to me.
“Schneeauber” means snow magic in German. reversecommuter thinks Wellenstyn may be a perfect synonym.
