Putty in my Hands

Earth tone pinks, the perfect not-ready-to-give-up-summer color!

Warmer than summer whites but still a long way from the winter spectrum of the color wheel.

Rick Owens Fall 2014 Diana dress is a gorgeous collaboration of summer & fall, with a leather trim detail across the top.  Drool Drool Drool!

Gucci Fall 2014 is all about blushing pinks – their ads are almost monochromatically dedicated to the ultimate girlie color!  This blazer paired with jeans and a white tank top would be an ideal September outfit.

RedValentino’s pleated pink blush skirt is begging to be a wardrobe staple and it’s versatility is mind-blowing!  Flat brogues, little cardigan and this skirt…HOLYTOLEDO the school bus drop off line will not know what happened!!!

Don’t Blink

Summer officially ended on Labor Day.

As long as it is warm enough, wear the sleeveless, the sun dresses, the open toes, the shorts (Oh! don’t get me started on the shorts, again!), and anything else that resembles summer wardrobe pieces.

Celebrating the ‘end’ of summer means one thing for reversecommuter – hit a patio!

P.S. margaritas help keep away any chills quite effectively 🙂

Bad Little Secret

Confession Time – sometimes nothing beats a Juicy. Seriously.

Especially this time of year, almost the end of summer (insert SOB here) when it there is just a hint of cool in the air when you get out of the water.

Skaist-Taylor, the Juicy Couture co-founders are no longer affiliated with the brand, and have just launched their inaugural collection (click the blue to go check out their uber groovy website).
As delicious as their new line is (and it is), it will be a VERY uphill battle to change being known as the Juicy girls (as they will forever be in my heart).

But as you can see, sometimes I might just try to deny that the Juicy is still in reversecommuter’s closet!

PS wearing said Juicy while enjoying home made grilled lobster pizza and having a glass of perfectly chilled chardonnay is also acceptable!
