Cherry Blossoms

Spring colors are exploding in nature and in fashion…

Put that black long sleeve sweater away and pull out a splash of color…

Or at the very least tie a bright & happy scarf on your bag to celebrate the big thaw!

DVF skirt, Fendi blouse, Gucci slingbacks.

The Ones that ALMOST Got Away

Salesperson at Barney’s almost didn’t sell me these…

despite my LOVE for all things YSL,  she thought they were too small for me.

Luckily reversecommuter can be VERY persuasive – especially when it comes to shoes and clothes that I really really really want – like these Rebecca Taylor pinstripe pants & MuuBaa leather t-shirt (click the blue to shop away!)

Don’t you just love a happy ending?!

Drastic Actions Part One

reversecommuter does not issue threats lightly…

but it was clearly stated (click the blue to see the post) that if the New England weather didn’t warm up, drastic actions would have to be taken…

Now I am wearing fur.

If you like fur (and not everyone does nor has to), but feel it makes too loud a statement, dress it down.

Jeans, sweater, flat boots, fur, done and warm.

FYI this is only Drastic Actions Part One…

Blazing the Trail

It’s that awesome time of year when blazers can be rocked and not hid under bulky winter coats.

Accessorize to your hearts content.  A great blazer works with everything – scarves, load up the arms with bracelets, necklaces, sunglasses with sass, big gorgeous bags, loafers, heels, ankle boots, blouses, t-shirts, paper thin cashmere sweaters, whatever!

Headed off to an appointment yesterday in the gorgeous New England sunshine.  Simple Pleasures!

Mother jeans, Alexander McQueen Blazer, James Perse blouse, Gucci loafers (in major need of a polish!), Missoni sunglasses, YSL bag.

Pink Dragon Ninja
