Ah the glamorous combination of being a mommy and a fashion blogger…
It is kind of like these pants…
Two in one.
Sort of nonsensical yet somehow it all absolutely works!
Jonathan Simkhai came to Boston this weekend to pour me champagne.
And host a Meet & Greet at Louis Boston…but mainly me and the champs.
Jonathan Simkhai Spring 2014 is a collection of feminine cuts, playful forms and flattering knitwear that can be ‘everyday incorporated’. reversecommuter has been a fan obsessed with his clothes since first introduction 2012, and each season the designs improve to a new, unimaginable level.
The other really incredible aspect of Jonathan Simkhai clothing is the price point, it is client friendly. LOVE!
“I know it sounds corny but I have always wanted to do this. Being a designer is my dream.” Jonathan Simkhai.
Lucky for us Jonathan, dreams come true!
reversecommuter is loving the slit godet tank – silk, sexy, versatile – bound to be a favorite basic in my Spring wardrobe. The classic cropped turtleneck – ridiculousness reinvented! Jonathan’s knit pencil skirt is quite possibly one of THE most flattering (aka forgiving) knit pieces available! Click the blue phrases, go shopping and wear gorgeous clothes!
Just as the State of the Union is not just an excuse to stay up late…(anyone else tired today?),winter is not just for coats and jackets.
Especially winters that seem to last forever! (insert *$%#&*! here)
Start with serious layering such as silk or cotton long sleeve t-shirts, grab your favorite thick warm sweater, and top it off with a fun fur/faux vest.
Expand the winter wardrobe while fooling yourself into thinking it is getting closer to Spring!
FYI I found this Phillip Lim 3.1 sweater (alot of requests!) here at shopbop.com (click the blue, it’s on sale!)
ps thank you for all the wonderful get well wishes – you totally made my day!!!!!!!!!
Nothing to see here Mr Art Gallery Security Guard…
Took the bambinos to the ICA for a little cultural infusion, (The Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston – click the blue to go to the ICA website).
Never miss an opportunity to be the cheese…
This marble bench, an installation at the ICA, says it all.
Miu Miu skirt, Dolce & Gabbana sweater, James Perse long sleeve t-shirt, Spanx tights, Proenza Schouler boots, YSL bag, Roots leather vest.
Like a great day date on a perfectly sunny Indian summer day….
Like a cool top (Marni) that offers an unpredictable back…
Like an awesome purchase from a ridiculously phenomenal store! LOUIS BOSTON is truly a destination for any fashion lover, male or female. This is especially true if you are a Marni fan, as Louis Boston has a monopoly on the line for Boston. Click the blue to find out how to get there.
Marni is an Italian designer created in 1994, that prints most of it’s own materials, has worked in-house with Stella McCartney, Mario Testino etc, and is constantly redefining fashion and reinvents itself every season, without losing the Marni-esque qualities that separate it from the rest.
