O.W.O. Something on my Pants!

Vive la France – or at least the cool factor Isabel Marant sprinkles on all her clothes.

Hippy Dippy Tie Dye is such a creative way to differentiate a pair of jeans.  Even if designer jeans are out of the budget’s reach, a bucket of bleach is always affordable!

Celine had a sweater/sweatshirt in the Fall 2013 Collection that reverse commuter obsessed over for a really long long long long time.  Justifying $2000 for that piece was not going to happen in this lifetime.

Oh Happy Days!  J Brand offers a similar piece for less than $300 – what is better than that?!?!?!  NADA BABY!!!

When lying awake at night thinking about the AMAZEBALLS designer piece you have ripped out of a magazine, wondering how you are going to ever afford it, and how long it will take until you get baby spit or the remainders of a chocolate bar wiped on it while receiving a loving hug from your bandito, keep in mind that fashion is all about interpretation & creativity!

Cotton Conundrum

I want a new pair of jeans…actually I really want these

Alas, I am on the waiting list in NYC but have a craving for immediate gratification so I went to Bloomingdales and these were my choices:

The breakdown:
True Religion Blue & White “Stella” tie dye @ $216.00 Legs were cut too skinny
AG Luscious Sateen in Coral tie dye @ $178.00 THE GLASS SLIPPER OF THE DAY!!!
J Brand Cropped White @ $ 180.00 Best to wait for a complimenting tan
J Brand Twill Skinny in Twisted Plum @ $ 198.00 Too Stretchy
Rag & Bone Skinny in Bright Orange @ $ 176.00 Divine but not as soft as the AG’s

The good news is that Bloomingdale’s is currently in pre-sale mode for their Friends and Family Sale, saving you 20%…and as far as I am concerned saving money means there is no bad news! YAY!
Here is the link to Bloomies with the jeans I tried on:

To Dye For!

Helloooooo new obsession!

Isabel Marant’s tie-dye Spring 2012 is beyond!  The jacket, the jeans, the little t-shirt dress, the jumpsuit….ooooooh deliciousness all round!  Happiness = Isabel Marant just announced the company is planning on opening eleven new stores in 2012-2013.  Yay!

James Perse has a great t-shirt in either black or blue tie-dye as another option.
